Damien Carson, Kelly and Harry visit us from Para Hills Presbyterian tomorrow and we’ll see how the presence of the creator and sustainer of all that is affects the lives of His people.
Praise My Soul, The King Of Heaven and Ancient Of Days will be our songs as we prepare for worship.
Our prayer of adoration and confession will remember the greatness of God and how our relationship with Him can descend to an unhelpful familiarity.
And Can It Be, Ephesians 2:4-10 and Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow will be our testimony and affirmation.
Jeremiah 26:1-24 reminds us of the opposition which God’s Word attracts, Psalm 146 (Praise The Lord, Let All Within Me) will express our thanksgiving for God’s revelation of Himself; and then we’ll hear Mark 4:35-41.
Damien will help us understand how the disciples’ unfolding understanding of Who Jesus is remains instructive for disciples today.
After we sing My Hope Rests Firm On Jesus Christ we’ll share the Lord’s Supper, be led in prayers of thanksgiving and for the needs of others, give our tithes and offerings and then close worship singing See Him Coming.
We’ll have time to continue our fellowship with the Carsons over a church lunch.
