St. George’s Tron church in Glasgow has decided to transfer affiliation away from the Church of Scotland.
The Church of Scotland may be prepared to accept loss of people, but loss of property and money is another matter altogether.
This follows the usual trajectory of liberal takeovers of Christian denominations, where the initial special pleading for tolerance and breadth becomes a stifling environment where conservatives are lucky to able to be forced out with the shirts on their backs.
