So, we whiled away 14 hours in Johannesburg by spending the afternoon on a mini-bus tour.
The tour featured Soweto, with frequent references to the pivotal figures in the country’s struggle for equal rights.
The nine-hour flight to Perth went as well as it could go, and now we await a flight to Melbourne where we will sleep.
Tomorrow we drive home.
