As soon as Hawkins hit the ground I thought Geelong were in trouble. Ah well. If everyone’s fit no one will want to play them in September.
Collingwood are going to lose against Sydney in Sydney one day. Maybe in the finals.
Gold Coast were much better than I thought.

Parramatta show all the desperation of players protecting their own contracts, now that team success isn’t possible this year.
Newcastle, Canberra, Wests, Brisbane and Cronulla are fighting for three places. I think the latter three will probably fall over the line, but maybe Canberra will tip Cronulla out.
