On May 28 1998 actor, comedian, artist, writer and voice-actor Phil Hartman died in tragic circumstances at the age of 48.
You may remember him for his roles in television, such as Newsradio and Saturday Night Live, as the artist who designed album art for bands such Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young and America, and as the voice actor for animated features such as Jiji the cat from the English dub of Kiki’s Delivery Service and, of course, Troy McClure from the Simpsons.
