I listened to this interview with Rev Terry Johnson, Senior Minister, Independent Presbyterian Church, Savannah, GA, hosted by Scott Clark on the Westminster Seminary, California, Office Hours radio program.

I’ve found everything that Johnson produces in the area of pastoral leadership in worship helpful. He holds very definite views, but does so irenically. To my ears he doesn’t unchurch those with whom he disagrees, though he does cast a very discerning eye over the worship of the church.
He also identifies pragmatic grounds for what he deems are pragmatic issues and scriptural grounds for scriptural issues and doesn’t disguise one as the other.
This is not an endorsement of every position that Johnson articulates in the interview, but people of Presbyterian and reformed backgrounds should be familiar with the issues that Johnson identifies, and you won’t often hear them expressed as winsomely as Johnson does.
