Tim Keller answers the question ‘Are You Saying That All Christians Should Make Cities A Priority?’
I think his point (beyond ‘No.’) is that we need to see modern cities through 21st century eyes and not through the more provincial and diffuse experiences of our past.
He mentions that the number of churches which serve the population of New York are far fewer than the number which serve the same populations in less densely populated parts of the USA.
I commented that NYC would have a far higher number of churches per sqaure mile than these regions.
