Albert Mohler provides an opinion piece on a German family who have recently: “filed for asylum [in the USA], claiming that they and their family were under threat of persecution due to their Christian convictions concerning homeschooling. Judge Lawrence O. Burman agreed with the couple, declaring them to be under threat of persecution in Germany due to their “principled opposition to government policy.”
The case is currently under appeal, but Mohler contends that Christians everywhere should be concerned that the “right of parents to determine the education of their own children” be protected.
