Tim Challies reviews the Joel Osteen ‘Your Best Life Now Board Game’ at his blog page. (Happily enough Koorong do not list it as a stocked item.)
Observing it as a candidate for worst. game. ever. Challies then references what may actually be the winner as he reviews the “Table Game Box – Rich Daddy God”.
It’s worth mentioning that it is produced in China, not as any slight to Chinese folk, but because it helps explain some of the more amusing turns of phrase used in the game. Still and all, the theology represented here seems to be lost in just a little more than simple translation.
Look, I’m on holidays (have I mentioned that before) so do yourself a favour and go and read Challies’ post for yourself.
Usual warnings apply, don’t be drinking anything while reading, and if you’re perusing it while you’re supposed to be working be prepared to stifle your laughter. (Or weeping)
