At the Sola Panel Sandy Grant has worked his way through seven postings that reflect on the content of Zac Veron’s book ‘Leadership on the Front Foot’.
The book was joint 2nd prize winner of the Australian Christian book of the Year 2009.
The thought that the book contains twenty-three principles for effective leadership could be intimidating, but they are broken into four broad categories and are presented as working organically together.
Here are the links for all seven parts: one, two, three, four, five, six, and seven.
On the strength of Grant’s extended analysis I’m going to get a copy of this book. It sounds blunt, provocative and challenging. But leaders need to be challenged, otherwise we can be tempted to settle for the shelter of benign stability.
Leadership On The Front Foot can be purchased at Koorong and Youthworks.
