Final extension top installed; screwed together; fixed to wall; Dewey catalogued books 251-966 stacked on shelves; and New Frontier & Mattel 10″ Justice League action figures looking down. Thanks to everyone who helped. Later: photos of the other reorganised shelves. (048-251)
Day 2: 3mill bases cut and placed under; extension tops assembled and fixed; shelves fixed to wall; hole cut for power point access. Still to go: one extension unit had a mishap, but will be fitted tomorrow; maybe a few more brackets on top to fix them together. Then books will start moving.
Round trip to IKEA Adelaide(900kms in total); four white Billy bookshelves and extension tops purchased; four shelf units assembled and in place. Still to be done: extension units assembled and fitted; wall fixing and a whole lot of books to be moved around. More pictures to come. That’ll do for today.
