One of the many, many iTunes extras on my 4K edition of Casablanca is the Warner Brothers 1995 cartoon Carrotblanca.
It hasn’t received a similar sparkling hi-def overhaul to that of the feature, but is very amusing.
Highlight pieces of casting are Tweety Bird as Peter Lorre’s Ugarte; Pepé Le Pew as Claude Rains’ Captain Renault, and Daffy Duck as Sam the pianist, suffering near concussion from his performance of ‘Knock on Wood’.
Other Warner characters, including Bugs Bunny filling in for Humphrey Bogart, abound. There are a lot of cameos in this eight minute romp.
