I’ve mentioned a number of times that my orphan high-school subject in which, lacking any other options I ended up taking was typewriting.
(Yep, typing was a school subject)
It seems ironic that the one skill acquired in high school that I consciously use every day is typing.
Anyway, I know who to use a manual typewriter. I think there may have been some access to electric machines, but they were pretty upmarket.
