I received a circular email about requirements for church gatherings in another Australian state.
The email contained explanations about a requirement for everyone to wear masks, and particular times when masks did not need to be worn by service leaders.
South Australian churches do not have this level of restriction.
The following points were made:
It is permissible for those leading or preaching within Church Services to remove their face mask whilst carrying out their role. This applies equally to Volunteers and paid Ministry Staff.
Such individuals should be at least 4m from the congregation if at all possible.

The second seemed remarkable to me, because I don’t really know of any church where people sit in the front rows or would be that close to the service leader.
A lot of places fill from the back to the front.
That regulation seems like the easiest one yet to implement.
