CityAlight is the name under which St. Paul’s Castle Hill have released Yours Alone, a new album of songs for worship.
There’s already a helpful review and introduction by Andrew Finden at A Borrowed Flame, so I won’t duplicate that, except to say that I agree.
The songs are lyricically strong and musically engage a number of contemporary styles in a manner that has produced material that is good to listen to and inviting to sing.
Itunes seems to be pretty much the only way to get the recording in Australia, though chords and lyrics are available at the website.
There are a number of album songs featured on a CityAlight channel at youtube.
Here’s the one I’m currently listening to.
And here’s a more upbeat offering.
