The biblical account of Jesus entry to Jerusalem on the week before his crucifixion are the theme of our opening songs, Hosanna and This Earth Belongs To God.
Our prayer of adoration and confession will focus on the love God has shown us in Jesus and how we must always look to him as we go onward.
Blessed Be Your Name is our testimony of assurance, after which we’ll state the Apostles’ Creed and sing Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow.
In God’s Word, John 9:1-17 tells us of Jesus healing a man born blind; then we’ll continue to memorise Hebrews 9:28; and sing All Glory, Praise And Honour.
Hebrews 10:32-29 will be read and the sermon, Continuing Confidence will explore how Christians are encouraged to remember how they confidently trusted Jesus in ‘the bad old days’, growing in faith and maturity, so that they will continue to trust in Jesus during current trials.
After singing Behold The Lamb we’ll share in the Lord’s Supper.
Our pastoral prayers will be offering, then tithes and offerings collected.
Worship concludes singing Ride On, Ride On In Majesty.
