Mental Floss feature ten rejection letters received by folk who went on to fame in their fields.
Appreciating this doesn’t hinge on whether you think they should have been accepted or whether you’d have accepted them.
Rather, that these folks kept working on their craft and did achieve their aspirations.
Clearly there are lots of other rejection letters in draws from folk who didn’t gain acceptance and fame.
But if life seems blocked by ‘no’, what avenues are there to hone your gifts to gain a ‘yes’
This also reminds me that through the cross of Christ God speaks a ‘yes’ of acceptance to all who trust in Jesus.
And that ‘yes’ is never conditional on your striving for improvement or effort.
