O Praise The LORD! The Man Is Truly Blessed (Psalm 84) and Jesus Is The Name We Honour are the songs of commencement.
The prayer of adoration and confession will praise God for His holiness and goodness, thanking Him for revealing the pattern of salvation to us so we would recognise the fulfilment of His saving work in Jesus.
The confession of faith and affirmation will be Approach, My Soul, The Mercy Seat, the Apostles’ Creed and Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow.
From God’s Word we’ll hear from John 4:27-54,in which we learn of the further impact of Jesus’ encounter with the Samaritan woman.
Our response in song will be As The Deer.
Reading from Hebrews 8:1-6, the writer from the Hebrews further stresses the perfection of Jesus as God’s great and final high priest, showing us again how the former priesthood was limited and yet prepared us for the work of Jesus, our one and only intermediary with the Father.
We’ll prepare to share the Lord’s Supper singing According To Your Gracious Word and then partake of the bread and wine.
After our pastoral prayers, and the giving of our tithes and offerings morning worship will conclude by singing You’re The Word Of God The Father (Across The Lands).
