For a second time a group from MGPC are traveling to Adelaide for a weekend visit to Para Hills Presbyterian.
We’re convicted that healthy local churches are involved in the growth of other local churches, either through planting or nurturing and encouraging.
By taking a group of MGPC members to Para Hills we aim to grow Christian fellowship, serve the folk there by encouragement and practical support, and, from our observations learn more about intentionality in our local context.
Apart from enjoying time together on the trip, some of us will meet with leadership from Para Hills this afternoon, there’s a dinner with members of the congregation tonight, worship tomorrow, and then shared lunch before we head home.
An investment in a 900km round trip is significant.
We believe this is an essential part of being a healthy local church.
More to follow. Lunch is in Hahndorf.
