When you believe you’ve had the best there is it takes a while for the reality that you’ve got something superior to sink in.

Salvation Belongs To Our God and From All That Dwell Below The Skies are our songs of preparation, with worship beginning with Light Of The World (Here I Am To Worship).
After the welcome and announcements, our prayer of adoration and confession will focus on the way in which salvation gives us greater experience of the unique love of God.
I Hear The Saviour Say (Jesus Paid It All), Romans 8:31-39 and Now To The King Of Heaven confess our corporate faith.
From Jeremiah 41:1-18 we read of the murder of Gedaliah, the governor appointed by the King of Babylon to rule Judah.
Singing We Love The Place, O God expresses our love for the body of Christ, the church.
Hebrews 3:1-6 will be read and then we’ll consider the writer’s explanation that Jesus is a better Moses.
He is the high priest and apostle of the new covenant is not a mere servant among the people of God, but, as the Son of God we can be completely confident that he will prove worthy of all honour, keeping every promise on our behalf.

After our pastoral prayer, we’ll give our tithes and offerings then conclude worship singing Who Has Held The Oceans In His Hand (Behold Our God).

Then we’ll welcome the folk who didn’t set their clocks forward for daylight saving and have morning tea.
