It’s possible to ask the right question, but to have such a set idea of what the answer is that when the correct answer comes it takes you completely by surprise.
God’s reply to Habakkuk’s great question is given to all of us, and God promises that no one expects His answer.

Again we’ll read Habakkuk 1:1-11, and then turn our focus on verses 5-11, in which God replies to Habakkuk’s three-part question in verses 2-4. God’s answer is not confined to the prophet, but is for all the people, and God demonstrates that His answer goes far beyond anything they could have conceived of. God will not be confined to our expectations of how He should work His purpose.
After our prayers of thanksgiving and for the needs of others, we’ll give our tithes and offerings, then conclude our service singing When Peace Like A River.
