Stefan Slucki preaches his inaugural sermon as pastor of Naracoorte Presbyterian
Tonight we marked a new season at St Andrews Presbyterian Church in Naracoorte, SA.
Stefan Slucki was inducted by the Presbytery of Penola into an appointment as pastor of St Andrews.
As part of the service, Stefan preached his first sermon as the pastor of the parish.
I’ve never liked inductions where the person being inducted never says anything.
Why bring in an occasional preacher when the guy being installed is supposed to be the parish’s preacher in residence?
So, after a very brief charge from me, we heard from the one everyone came to hear.
Stefan spoke very concisely on Isaiah 43:18-19 about God’s doing a new thing.
In this new season in Naracoorte, Stefan encouraged us to anticipate new births and new growth for those already born again.
