I purchased Hymn Revival Volume 1 & 2 from musical collective The Lower Lights recently.
They’re charming listening for those who like acoustic and melodic renditions of classic lyrics and melodies.
The choices range across hymns and spirituals.
Interestingly the group have a mormon background, so not all the choices here are from Christian hymnody.
I’d be surprised if you didn’t hear old favorites and more than a few that you won’t have heard before.
They’re available from Bandcamp as downloads and/or CDs, as well as iTunes.
