Anders Breivik, the terrorist who is responsible for atrocities in Norway is routinely described as a fundamentalist Christian.
This blog post from David Johnstone excerpts some quotes from Breivik’s manifesto which shows that if he has any relationship to Christianity at all it may of the more liberal variety than that of the fundamentalist.
For example:

If you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and God then you are a religious Christian. Myself and many more like me do not necessarily have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and God. We do however believe in Christianity as a cultural, social, identity and moral platform. This makes us Christian.

In any case, time will tell, and the people of Norway will grieve.
