Death Of David Wilkerson

David Wilkerson author of The Cross And The Switchblade died in a car accident on April 27.
His life impacted and challenged many.

Here’s the last two paragraphs of the most recent post on Wilkerson’s blog:

To those going through the valley and shadow of death, hear this word: Weeping will last through some dark, awful nights—and in that darkness you will soon hear the Father whisper, “I am with you. I cannot tell you why right now, but one day it will all make sense. You will see it was all part of my plan. It was no accident. It was no failure on your part. Hold fast. Let me embrace you in your hour of pain.”
Beloved, God has never failed to act but in goodness and love. When all means fail—his love prevails. Hold fast to your faith. Stand fast in his Word. There is no other hope in this world.

  1. What a comfort – he was so close to Jesus, you can hear God’s message through his last message to his generation so loud and clear – I am hugely encouraged by this message of this true servant of the Lord, what a blessing!

  2. I read many of david wilkerson’s books and found them very good, strengthening my young
faith at the time. He will be sadly missed.

  3. I just heard today of Pastor Wilkerson’s passing, although he will be greatly missed here on earth I am sure heaven’s angels are rejoicing to have one of theirs come home.
Thank you Pastor for the impact that you have made on both my husband’s and my life.
