Bruce Winter is principal of the Queensland Theological College (Presbyterian). He is a world-class New Testament scholar, particularly in the area of studies on Corinthians.
Here he is interviewed by Mark Dever, senior pastor of Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, DC. The interview reveals that Dever and Winter’s relationship seems to stretch back to their shared time at Tyndale House in England.
This is an audio interview, recorded at the QTC which is located on the bank of the Brisbane river in the suburb of St. Lucia. I think you can even hear boat engines in the background at some points.
No transcript is available.
Bruce provides a bit of biographical information and testimony, and then “jumps into the fray over cultural contextualization in ministry, the importance of historical background for interpreting Scripture, and bad contemporary ideas of leadership”.
