Here’s two excellent Christmas albums, both of which are entitled ‘Christmas’.

The first is a brand new release from Andy Gullahorn and Jill Phillips
For those of you who know Gullahorn is a collaborator of Andrew Peterson, and Phillips is the vocalist on ‘Labor of Love’ on Behold The Lamb Of God.
Tracks:
1 O Come All Ye Faithful
2 In The Bleak Midwinter
3 Christmastime Is Here
4 Nations That Long In Darkness Walked
5 The First Noel
6 I Will Find A Way
7 Baby It’s Cold Outside
8 You Came Down
9 O Holy Night
10 Some Children See Him
11 Once In Royal David’s City

The second is by Bruce Cockburn
1. Adeste Fidelis
2. Early ON One Christmas Morn
3. O Little Town Of Bethlehem
4. Riu Riu Chiu
5. I Saw Three Ships
6. Down In Yon Forest
7. Les Anges Dans Nos Champagnes
8. Go Tell It On The Mountain
9. Shepherds
10. Silent Night
11. Iesus Ahatonnia (The Huron Carol)
12. God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
13. It Came Upon The Midnight Clear
14. Mary Had A Baby
15. Joy To The World

A nice range of material.
Some originals on Gullahorn and Phillips (including an original turn on ‘Baby, It’s Cold Outside).
Some older stuff that I’d never heard before on Cockburn.

    I love Bruce Cockburn.

He’s a favourite of the emerging church leaders in the US. I’ve read some of his comments re: Jesus and he’s interesting, if not a little woolly.

The album is dirt cheap for download.
