The Seven Television Network have commenced advertising their newest digital station.
Aimed at the male demographic aged between 16-49 the channel is going to known as ‘7mate’.
I wouldn’t believe it either, read about it on the Herald Sun website.

The Seven Network apparently had some trouble with its regional affiliate due to the branding of its second channel 7two. That made it hard for the regional folk to rebrand the second channel. Eventually they gave up and just amalgamated the ‘7two’ name with their own.
It seems that the Seven network haven’t really learnt anything, or maybe someone has a particularly devious sense of humour.
Males aged 16-49 in regional Australia will soon probably be asked to identify themselves as target viewers of ‘Prime-mate’.
