I’m looking forward to Tony Abbott continuing to clarify his industrial relations position, expecting his full policy to eventually be expressed in these terms:
“Workchoices is dead; buried; exhumed; drawn and quartered, sprinkled with holy water, then the body stuffed with garlic and the head removed and put on a pike as a warning to all other unwanted policies that they should stay away; then cremated; but the urn on the mantle is actually empty because the ashes were shipped to Europe and placed in the Large Hadron Collider which simultaneously caused its constituent particles to be atomised and sent back to the dawn of time, so the policy has never technically existed.
In addition Workchoices’ family were also executed and its dog was euthanised.”
