Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York city was planted by Tim Keller, who has also recently had the books ‘The Reason For God’; ‘Prodigal God’; and ‘Counterfeit Gods’ published.
Redeemer City To City continues the blog section from the superseded Redeemer Church Planting Center website.
In a recent post Keller comments on Redeemer’s approach to a new hot-topic among evangelicals, in a post entitled ‘The Multi-Site Model – Thoughts’.
I confess some curiosity about whether the ‘collegial’ model to which Keller aspires could actually be of use in a rural situation, as well.
If administrative functions could be shared then local energies would hopefully be opened up for pastoral care and outreach.
