The John Flynn episode of ABC’s Compass, The Man On The $20 Note was on ABC Television 1’s Compass last Sunday night.
For those (like me) who missed it, the episode is currently available at Compass’ webpage.
It can be viewed there, downloaded, and a transcript is available.
The episode is an informative portrait of the life and legacy of an enigmatic, yet compelling figure.
The closest that the episode comes to recognising the current work of the Presbyterian Church of Australia in the outback is when the Uniting Church’s Frontier Services, which receives extensive coverage throughout, is referred to as a successor ministry to the work of the Australian Inland Mission.
Well, we knew what they meant.
It will not remain available forever, so hop to it.
