Spent the evening with a congregation in Norwood at a service which marked a stage in their growth and in their relationship with their pastor.
The Congregation have demonstrated their capacity to stand as a body in full status without requiring outside aid for their ongoing work. Financially and spiritually they are on their own feet so to speak. Because of that change in status the relationship with their pastor is now one where his term of service is considered open ended.
I mentioned this is not a sign that they have arrived at a destination, but rather is a confirmation of God’s good provision and is the indication that a new step of faith is about to begin.
