Something from last Sunday that has been so encouraging and challenging:
One of our senior members had a stroke six months ago.
She and her husband have been active Christians all their lives.
Last Sunday the wheelchair taxi pulled up and her wheelchair emerged.
Coming through the door for the first time in months she burst into tears.
It took a little while, but she gathered herself and assured those who were asking that there was nothing wrong to cause her tears, it was just that she was so happy to come to church.
Psalm 122:1
I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD!”
