So, it’s taken me a little bit longer to get around to my holiday reading, but tomorrow I’ll start reading Lila by Marilynne Robinson. It’s part of the Man Booker long list for 2015.
A counterpart to Gilead and Home, it will be interesting to see how this book opens up the story of a character that has so far been the most opaque of those present in the other novels, and how that deepens the other two stories.
