Those of you preparing prayers on behalf of churches tomorrow, or for your own prayer times, please pray for David Cook, Moderator-General Of The Presbyterian Church Of Australia.
David was due to leave Australia last Thursday (January 30) for three months of teaching and training in various locations.
On Tuesday he was animatedly sharing about his anticipation of the journey.
But sometime on Wednesday he took a mis-step off a kerb and injured one of his knees.
His departure was cancelled and he’s having an MRI in anticipation of surgery.
I don’t know any more than that, or whether there would be the possibility of him being able to make some of his latter engagements.
I’m sure we’ll hear more down the track, but in the meantime, pray for successful treatment and that those who were expecting David’s ministry will be able to make alternate arrangements.
UPDATE: David is hopefull of both an arthroscope and departure for England next week.
