As one of David Cook’s chaplains I took a turn constituting our business session for tonight’s sitting.
I chose to read John 20:11-18, which was followed by a prayer of constitution, after which we sang Never Alone.
The reading is one of my favourite pieces of biblical narrative and, apart from being very fitting and a lovely song, it was good to sing one composition in the course of the Assembly which is composed by an Australian lyricist.
