So, the chairs mgpc bought three years ago to replace our pews had a problem.
The dye process in the fabric had a fault which resulted in some (not all) of our chairs fading and the fabric degrading.
Our friends at Civic Seating (and their agents) have been working with us over the last eighteen months or so, and, with the supplier unable to rectify the problem with their red dye, the colour was removed from their range.
The solution to our problem has been for Civic to organise for all 200 of our chairs to be replaced with new chairs of a different colour.
We chose this blue.
And our red chairs?
Well it seems like we get to keep them, as well.
Thanks to our friends from Studform for bringing their forklift to unload the chairs.
There’ll be another photo when they’re all set up. Which will take a while.
