Well, it was fun while it lasted.
Online bookseller Amazon is buying out better online bookseller Book Depository.
Despite promises to keep the Book Depository brand functioning, how much longer cheaper books and free postage will last are anyone’s guess.
Unless Amazon are able to follow Book Depository’s better model and start offering free shipping to Australia?
I won’t hold my breath.
(And there must be some purchases I intended to make, and now have a reason to place.)
