In the year that the KJV turns 400 the Common English Bible will be published.

It seems that the less conservative neighborhood of the US church want a translation that won’t have them paying royalties to Rupert Murdoch or conservative evangelicals when they use it.
With the NIV and its revisions dominant, and the ESV and HCSB receiving support from sections of the conservative evangelical movement, I’m not certain of the level of support it will receive on this side of the Pacific.
