Word has it that at their Commission last Tuesday Rev. Robert (Bob) Carner was elected to serve as Moderator of the 2011 Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Victoria which will convene on October 11 later this year.
Though we’ve been out of each other’s immediate circles for the last eight years or so Bob has continued to be a good friend to me as opportunity allows.
Odds are, when Bob gets in contact with you, at some early stage of the conversation you’ll hear the words “Can I just run a couple of ideas past you?” or something similar. Listen. They’ll be good ideas.
Bob has a heart for the Gospel, to see Christians and local churches growing.
Congratulations Bob (and Coral).
I suppose this means more admin work for Ben, as well.
