As promised, Sandy Grant provides posts with his reflections on the Anglican Church’s triennial General Synod which is being conducted in Melbourne.
Grant’s commentary gives insight into a different way of arriving at denominational decisions from my experience within Presbyterianism. (Three distinct voting panels all deliberating together and then voting separately, for instance.)
He also touches on the difficulty of working in a group which has a very broad grouping of theological views. (To put it mildly.)
His overall tone is constructive and optimistic. (In my estimation, others who disagree with his positions may think otherwise.)
