Bob Katter, member for Kennedy, has declared support for the coalition.
His declared reasoning is that the policy positions of the coalition coincide more numerously to his own. He has not secured any undertakings from the coalition, nor has he sought them, refusing to ‘sell’ his support.
If Kevin Rudd was still leader he would have supported Labour.
Interesting that Katter has announced alone, leaving the other two independents to make their decision public later.
I would not be surprised for Oakeshot to indicate support for Labour enabling them to form government and Windsor to indicate that he won’t block supply.
