Have you ever given a (reflective) narrative of your whole life in sixty to ninety minutes?
How many times and to how many people?
In most relationships this information usually gets passed on in bits and pieces over time.
One thing we are doing this week is hearing each other’s stories.
It will form the most significant component of our time together this year.

Telling the whole story in one block is a very unusual experience.

I don’t think I’ve ever told my whole story in one go to anyone, not even my wife.
Thinking about it, after already having listened to some others, has stirred up lots of memories that I haven’t thought of for years.
It reminds me that thinking about what you’ve been through in life is very helpful in knowing why you think and react the way you do.
Anyway my turn will come.
