Dave Bailey studies at the Queensland Theological College.
He’s already counting the weeks until his full-time study there draws to a close.
He writes about some of the things he appreciates about college life here on his blog.
Full time study of the Bible in a college context is a wonderful privelege.
The post brings back a lot of very fond memories.
Thanks for sharing, Dave.
God bless you as you prepare for your next season.

In the interest of value adding, here are five memories of life at (what was then called) the Queensland Theological Hall.
1. The sense of wonder when Ian McIver explained the toledot structure in Genesis and the literary feature of inclusio. (Among many others.)
2. Cricket in the nets over the road or walks along Sir William MacGregor Drive during the lunch break.
3. Wondering if I’d blink and miss seeing the airbags deploy in Ray Evan’s car when he drove us to St. Lucia.
4. Matthew Kim explaining that heresies in the early church were like catfish, and hearing him say heilsgeschichte (salvational history) with his Korean accent.
5. The joy and pain of a homiletics class where the motto was ‘iron sharpens iron’.
