Earlier I posted links to posts by Rick Phillips and Michael Bird.
Phillips left a comment on Bird’s post seeking clarification about Bird’s objections to Phillips’ article and Bird responds to Phillips.
Both of the are willing to engage, affirm each other, question each other, and seek to clarify their understandings of the other’s position and motives.
In the midst of their passion and commitment, both display a humility that is most encouraging to me.
