The Together For The Gospel Conference sees 7000 people gathering in Louisville Kentucky, USA.
As someone commented on one blog, 7000 people is not a conference, it’s a town.
(It would be either the ninth or eleventh biggest town in South Australia, depending on how you reckon things.)

You’re not attending for intimate fellowship, though lots of fellowship will be shared.
You’re not attending for unique teaching. All the material will be recorded, posted and published.
You do get lots of free books.
You get exposure to a common testimony of God’s truth and of the relationships that builds.
You get to sing as part of a 7000 voice choir.

Tim Challies provides this behind the scenes YouTube blog.
See the book stall.
Work out how many of each of the recommended books you already own.
Try and figure out whether you should buy the Complete Calvin And Hobbes (one day…)
See how you fit 7000 attendees in one room.
Look at which four books the attendees will all be receiving first. (Cheer the Aussie inclusion)
See what Challies describes as the geekiest thing he’s ever done in his life. (But secretly doubt that’s true.)
