Some of the folk who read this blog may not be aware that the Jesus, All About Life campaign, which is organised by the Bible Society of New South Wales, was unable to secure a place at the now ironically named Sydney Royal Easter Show.
Here’s an article from Insights, a New South Wales Uniting Church website.
Sydney radio 2GB interview.
In the Show’s tweet stream the following explanation was given: “Not that the Bible Society is not allowed, but we are full. All welcome to our ecumenical service on Easter Sunday at 830am”
My usual position is that given a choice between a conspiracy and a foul up, it’s usually just a foul up.
Wonder what will happen next year.
The resources that JAAL were unable to use were given away to local churches for their Easter campaigns.
