For those of you who have been thrifty or slow, again your patience is rewarded as the ESV Bible Blog and Crossway publishing announce their iPhone ESV Bible App.
Unlike the previous web-based bookmark style version which required internet connection, this one lives on your iPhone in its entirety, offering full-time access.
It is available at the Australian App store. Just search ‘ESV’.
Yes, it is free.
It may look like you’re playing a game or checking Facebook updates if you use it during church or Bible Study, but that’s a risk some of you will be prepared to make.
I’m not downloading it at this stage as my Olive Tree Software ESV Study Bible is doing just fine.
Great tip, Gary – but you’re right, it’s only useful to the thrifty and slow!
I’ve got the regular Olive Tree ESV app (not study bible) which cost something like $11! But it’s great.
I’ve been taking sermon notes on my iphone since January and poor John Stasse probably thinks I’m on Facebook most of the time…
