I consider this the turning point of the book.
Previously Paul has been explaining justification by faith.
Now having proclaimed God’s mercy he seeks to outline how human lives respond to that mercy.
Living Sacrifices – Ian Touzel
1) But first, a life of worship.
2) Spiritual worship: a sacrifice to God.
Bodies, living, holy, acceptable to God.
The takeaway: Show the worth of Christ by the way you use
your body.
3) Transformed by renewal of your mind.
The takeaway: By the Spirit’s power pursue truth and pray for
humility.
