May The Mind Of Christ My Saviour is a hymn of consecration. At once it recognises the power of the living Christ in the Christian while also voicing aspiritation to live Christ’s life in us. I like it for its balance, humility, simplicity, and, above all, its Christ centeredness. The lyrics are by Kate B. Wilkinson.
I first encountered it at the Katoomba Youth Leadership Conference/Convention. At that point the words were set to a (then) new tune composed by Mark Peterson. Upon returning home I discovered it was in the Rejoice! hymnbook. (Which was still something of a novelty back then.) The tune in the hymnbook is St. Leonards, composed by Arthur C. Barham-Gould.
The Peterson tune is very melodic. You can sample it at EMU music here.
Here are the lyrics.
1.
May the mind of Christ my Saviour
live in me from day to day,
by His love and pow’r controlling
all I do and say.
2.
May the Word of God enrich me
with His truth from hour to hour,
so that all may see I triumph
only through His power.
3.
May the peace of God my Father
in my life forever reign,
that I may be calm to comfort
those in grief and pain.
4.
May the love of Jesus fill me
as the waters fill the sea,
Him exalting, self abasing:
this is victory!
5.
May His beauty rest upon me
as I seek the lost to win;
so that all may look to Jesus,
seeing only Him.

Here is an additional verse, usually the fifth:
5. May I run the race before me
Strong and brave to face the foe,
Looking only unto Jesus
As I onward go, as I onward go.
I can’t see anything wrong with it to merit its omission in Rejoice!
